Creating a teaching technician team for support of veterinary student training laboratories

چکیده

Veterinary technicians play valuable roles in most veterinary colleges and have particular strengths coaching new learners. We moved to a teaching technician ‘float team’ model provide support core pre-clinical laboratories our DVM (Doctor of Medicine) curriculum. The team has enabled us better utilize staff skill sets training, created efficiencies expanded provided laboratory courses, development advancement opportunities for members, improved ability recognize mentor staff. This also allowed effectively adjust the rapidly changing structure increased numbers brought on by COVID-19 pandemic without increasing involved teaching.
